Since the last blog post (a mere 3 hours ago) the following happened.
- Somebody accepted the trade offer for 25 SBX to 25 ROSE that I attached to the blog post
- I received a mysterious email with no content other than a subject of "Lucky 8 offer"
This was not a CAT that I had already added to my wallet so it was displayed as an unknown CAT.
I looked this up on taildatabase and found the following
I checked XchToken to confirm that the supply is indeed 8,888,888 which means that the offer is for almost 0.001% of the total supply of this coin.
I have no idea where this project is going, but I am going to need to take risks if there is any chance of reaching 1 million USDS so of course I accepted the offer. After all, it is only asking for 8 SBX and I very recently had 1,000 SBX so this is only 0.8% of my portfolio - a risk I am willing to take!
Current portflio breakdown
|SBX||967||Meme coin that promises to be galactic internet money|
|LKY8||888||Meme coin with a lower supply than Spacebucks|
|ROSE||25||Platform token developed by Chives|
Considering I only had 1 mojo 5 hours ago I am quite happy with how this is going.
Strategy going forwards
I intend to take full advantage of this current period where liquidity is low and everything is in price discovery mode.
It's impossible to know which of these coins is going to be the most valuable in 6 months so the best approach is to own some of everything.
I intend to hold 500 LKY8 for a medium to long-term however am willing to post 333 up for sale in exchange for 0.01 USDS. This is in my opinion a fair offer as it assumes that "Lucky 8" currently has a market cap of $88,888.
We do not know if "Lucky 8" will grow into something meaningful, but if it does that 0.01 USDS for 333 LKY8 will prove to be an absolute bargain!
Be warned, I have posted this in Keybase as well so the offer might not last long...
I continue to accept trade offers by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. I will blog about offers that are accepted (and maybe the ones that I pass on as well).
Update: aaand it's gone. New post coming soon covering the next trades.
